This year it seems as if Spring took a few extra weeks to really show up around Columbus, but when she finally did, she brought some of the most beautiful Dogwood blooms I have seen in years. And dogwoods just happen to be one of my very favorite spring blooms. I wouldn't be surprised if they show up in a couple of future illustrations.....
Of course, I had to take my new Nikon around the neighborhood and document them. :)

Beautiful photos. I wish we had dogwood in California, but it doesn't get cold enough. They are one of my favorites.
